Tables, Tables, everywhere

Using Word and Table tools, create the following tables from the book:

All of the tables should be centered  horizontally (Auto Fit Window). Be sure to include a header with your name and the date.
----------------------------------
p. 88: BROADWAY GROSSES (20 points)
If needed go to MH_Shares, 119-Blake, Word Processing Video Tutorials folder. Watch  the video related to creating a table using insert table.
  • Secondary title and column headings are Bold and Italics
  • Align headings and columns as you see them in the book.
  • Add color using one of the table styles.  If your alignments change after applying the table styles, realign them to match the book.
  • PRINT WHEN DONE
----------------------------------
p. 93: Choose one table to key: POEMS TO IMPROVE OUR LIVES or THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (10 points)
  • Table title is NOT in the table, but above the table. Double space after the title, before the table.
  • Align headings and columns as you see them in the book.
  • Add color using a different table style than the previous table.  If your alignments change after applying the table styles, realign them to match the book.
  • PRINT WHEN DONE
----------------------------------
p. 95: CHILDREN'S STORIES (10 points)
  • Before starting this one, I will go through with you how to remove the grid lines of the table. To remove grid lines, select the entire table, click on the Design Ribbon under Table Tools.  Click on Borders and select No Borders.
  • Align headings and columns as you see them in the book.
  • Add color using a different table style than the previous table (note some of the styles remove the grid lines automatically).  If your alignments change after applying the table styles, realign them to match the book.
  • Follow the book (on the left side of the page) for additional requirements.
  • 1st column (Book) is left aligned. 2nd column is centered.
----------------------------------
p. 95:  LONGEST-RUNNING BROADWAY SHOWS (15 points)
  • Align headings and columns as you see them in the book.
  • Add color using a different table style than the previous table.  If your alignments change after applying the table styles, realign them to match the book.
  • After typing go to http://www.playbill.com/article/long-runs-on-broadway-com-109864 and update the table with any new shows (using insert row) and update the number of performances of shows currently in your list.
