Marking Period 1 Quarterly

A)  1 minute timing: 50 % - Students will complete three 1 minute timed writings. The best of the three will count toward the quarterly assessment. This will count for 50% of the grade.

B)  Internet Search: 50%
1. Students will complete a 20 question Internet Search demonstrating effective searching skills.
2. Different searches will be used in class ensuring students sitting next to each other cannot copy answers.
3. Students will hand in hand wirtten answers - not typed.
4. Grading: 100 points, 5 points each.
