1 minute timings and Internet Safety in Google Drawings

Officer Haigh, SRO at Morris Hills and member of the Rockaway Boro Police Department, spoke to you about Internet safety. Your task: With another person or two, create a Google Draw document that teaches someone else about what you learned.  You will design a sign that will be put up around the school from which other Morris Hills students can learn.

1. Your teacher will determine who you will work with to complete this assignment.
2. Launch CHROME for your web browser.
3. Determine who in the group will be the "Sharer." If it is not you, give your mhrd.org email address to the "Sharer." Log into your mhrd gmail account, wait for the link to the document. If you are the "Sharer," log into your Google Drive,  Click the NEW button; Choose "More" then choose "Drawings." Name the document. Share the document with your group.

4. With your group, create a Drawing Document. Content of the Draw document:

• The final product will be an Internet Safety sign that we will hang up around the school.
• Your audience is other Morris Hills students
• Enter a title: Internet Safety!
• What were the three most important tips shared by Officer Haigh.  Each person in the group must identify their top three (3).
• Make your document look interesting by adding shapes, outline, boarders, color, picts, etc,.
• Make the sign attractive...be sure you fill up the page. Adjust colors so they match.
• Add borders.
• Add graphics.
• Include your name somewhere in the Drawing document.

PROOFREAD your work for grammar and spelling mistakes.

This assignment is worth 25 points. Due end of the block.
